Altostratus Limited Reveals New Plans to Relocate Its Isle of Man Casino
Altostratus Limited, one of the leading companies in the Isle of Man, revealed its updated plans for building a new casino in Douglas.
The much-needed Douglas casino:
The total worth of the casino will be £30 million, and it will be situated at the Middlemarch site in the island’s capital after the relocation.
The property was sold for the first time in August last year. The six-story building will feature many amenities, including a casino, as well as an impressive bingo hall, a sports bar, many offices, huge parking, as well as 25 apartments.
The residents of the building will be able to use the roof proof garden as well. When the company gets permission to plan the building, the casino license will be transferred from Palace Hotel & Casino, which is already placed on Douglas Promenade in the new casino.Come from 291bet
According to the source, John Bell, who is currently in the position of the Project Manager at ADG Architects, said: “The proposed development at Middlemarch will be one of the biggest commercial schemes seen in the town center for several decades and will help link the growing leisure offering on the North Quay with the well-established shopping and business districts in Lower Douglas. Subject to obtaining the necessary approvals to move their casino license, Palace Hotel & Casino Limited will be an anchor tenant for the development, with two of the three floors in the leisure complex earmarked for their casino, conference, and entertainment offering.”

He added that Altostratus was collaborating with the renowned Manx Development Corporation (MDC). The collaboration took place to ensure that the new casino fits the expectations they had for the Lower Douglas area. Before the formal planning application takes place later this year, two interested parties are supposed to discuss the further details.
The spokesman for ADG Architects commented on the new hotel and casino and said the new “central hub” will be a great new venue where the markets, festivals, and TT races will be hosted. On top of that, during the holiday season, there will be an outdoor ice rink. The town will greatly benefit from this, and it is expected that ‘the overall appeal and sustainability of the town’ will be a huge asset when it comes to supporting the local businesses, as well as growing the local economy of the businesses that are present in this island’s area.
